Video Marketing

Using Video Marketing to Drive Website Traffic

If you’re looking to get your website seen, one of the best techniques you can use to drive traffic is video marketing.

It’s one of the most engaging, influential, and potentially profitable forms of marketing today.

There is no cap on the amount of videos you can do if you have the time and put in the effort.

This doesn’t mean post a bunch of videos just to be posting videos, but it does mean that if you are doing videos that are informative and value packed people will respond.

Video marketing has the ability to capture people’s attention and allows you the luxury to establish authority like no other form of marketing.

People get to actually see you in the flesh and hear you speak about your product or service.

This one traffic source has been the bread and butter for many successful online businesses today.

Benefits of Video Marketing

Video Marketing provides an number of benefits to improve your business or promote your products or services.

Some benefits include:

  • Allowing you to highlight your products and services in an informative and entertaining way to viewers.
  • Increase blog traffic by driving YouTube video traffic to your blog.
  • Visitors are more likely to watch a 2-5 minute video then read an entire blog post.
  • Video allows you more flexibility in conveying your message compared to writing a blog post.
  • Videos allow you the opportunity to create fresh content more rapidly.
  • Videos rank high in the search engines.
  • Videos add diversity and a breath of fresh air to your content.
  • The amount of traffic can be endless and best of all once the video is done it does the work for you over and over again.

When it comes to video marketing you must take action.

It may be intimidating at first to get up and create your videos, but with practice you become better and more comfortable.

The main thing is just doing them.

A lot of times people let many other factors deter them from doing video marketing and never gain the courage to do it at all.

They come up with excuses of why they can’t post a video like “my hair isn’t right, I don’t know what to say, people aren’t going to like them, I’m not good enough.”

You must not let anything stop you from doing your videos.

Video marketing can be an important asset to your online business.

Do what you need to do to get over any fears you may have and you will quickly learn the benefits of remaining consistent with your efforts when you see the traffic it can bring over time.

I’ve done videos months ago that still bring in traffic daily to my blog.

If you don’t want to submit your videos to multiple sites just start with the biggest, YouTube.

YouTube gets an enormous amount of visitors each day.

You should find your niche and redirect some of that traffic to your blog or website through video marketing.

Facebook is also an awesome resource to use because videos can quickly go viral with the help of your Facebook friends.

Your videos can easily get shared and you can also post your videos to different groups associated with your niche.

Video marketing should definitely be added to your repertoire if you want to improve success in your business.

Your videos don’t have to be extravagant, but make sure they are genuine and informative.

If done correctly video marketing can be the only source you need to get the word out about your business.

Best Wishes!

Search Engine Traffic Tips

I’ve been away from my blog for a little over a week now.

It’s been tough for me to get blogging done with internet connection issues, family issues, and other obligations in my life.

My mind has really been going thinking about not being able to post and do the things I enjoy most when it comes to blogging and growing my blog business.

The one thing I’ve learned through all this is that the work that I’ve put in up to this point is paying off.

Thinking that not being able to blog has hurt me I have come to realize that it hasn’t been that bad.

I’ve continued to get a steady flow of traffic to my website through the search engine and also through other traffic resources I’ve been working on.

Finally being able to get back to blogging I feel energized, refreshed, and motivated to get back to business.

Today I wanted to discuss why it’s important to focus on getting your website or articles ranked in the search engine for traffic and some things you can do to improve your search engine rankings.

Why is Search Engine Optimization Important?

Search engine optimization is important to your website because it allows you the ability to gain visitors organically.

The people that come to your website through the search engine are usually targeted and looking for what you have to offer.

This is huge when it comes to gaining subscribers and making sales – big or small.

Good SEO practices improve the user experience, as well as the flow of your website.

Using good practices allow you to rank much higher in the search engines improving your credibility and authority in your niche.

This goes a long way when it comes to separating yourself from the competition.

If you and another website are offering the same products and services, the website that is optimized the best is more likely to have more customers than the other.

This can also lead to more sales if your copy and funnel is set up correctly.

3 Tips to Gain Success With Search Engine Optimization

If you want success with search engine optimization you will want to focus on a few strategies that will allow you the best results to improve your business.

Here are three tips to focus on:

1) Monitor your competitors

Focusing on what other successful people are doing in your niche is vital.

If competitors are making changes to their websites they have probably discovered a new strategy to improve in the search engine.

Make sure you are keeping up with the latest trends and strategies in your market.

That doesn’t mean jump on every new thing that is going on, but it does mean be aware of changes and do the proper research needed to figure out if they will be beneficial to you or not.

Never get comfortable in your business.

If you’ve been doing things that have been working by all means stick to that, but always be on the lookout for ways to improve and take your business to new levels.

2) Study your traffic logs

Studying your traffic is important.

You should always know where your traffic is coming from and how much you are getting.

If it’s a particular keyword then make more articles surrounding that keyword and leverage it.

Continue looking for keywords that don’t have much competition, but have a decent amount of searches and figure out how to get ranked for those keywords.

If you can rank high in the search engine for low competition keywords with reasonable traffic you can get visitors flowing to your website like clockwork.

You can locate your logs through your web hosting service or use tools like Google Analytics to give you an idea of the kind of traffic you’re getting daily.

3) Try to inspire sales

If you’ve reached a point where traffic is flowing and you feel comfortable with your SEO efforts you want to figure out a way to convert those visitors into sales.

With the right tools and copy in place you can create an income for yourself.

The main thing you want to be doing is capturing your visitors and sending them through a sales funnel.

You can do this through an autoresponder that has an email newsletter series.

Give your subscribers an ebook, video series, or a list of tools that can help them improve their business or solve a problem.

Don’t allow your SEO efforts to go to waste.

Turn your traffic into sales.

When it comes to running a successful business this should be your end result.

Keep these points in mind and you can have success in your business in no time.

Start using these strategies immediately in your business.

Your list building efforts should be started on day one.

Once that traffic starts flowing free or paid you can already have your funnel set to turn those leads into sales.

Best Wishes!

Money With a Blog

Is Making Money With a Blog Fact or Fiction?

When I speak to people about the subject of blogging it goes so far over their heads it’s not even worth justifying what it is I do as a business.

Some people have an open mind and some don’t.

I think that’s what separates entrepreneurs from those who enjoy the comfort of working a job.

While the internet isn’t new people still don’t believe that people make money with a blog.

And for those that do believe it want it done the easy way.

When I’ve told people I’ve made money online their antenna goes up and they are ready to listen to what I have to say.

It’s pretty amusing.

While the concept of making money with a blog seems easy, the actual work required to make money isn’t in the early stages.

Isn’t that how it goes with most businesses offline?

Often times people can’t make that same correlation and end up quitting or announcing to the world that making money with a blog isn’t possible.

Well I’m here to tell you that it is possible.

You must have the right mindset, an effective plan, and take massive action.

What’s Blogging About?

Well in a nutshell bloggers write about things going on in their niche.

Individuals read it and they make profits from advertising, personal products, or commissions on products that get sold.

For those of us that have been doing it for a while, it’s simple.

For the beginner who’s just getting started, not so much.

It’s important to realize what you’re getting into.

A blog should not be taken lightly.

Lots of people come into blogging as a hobby and treat it as such.

If you have a blog just to have one that’s fine, but if you want to make money with a blog you should treat it as a business.

A few things to consider before dedicating yourself to a blog:

1. Blogging in itself isn’t difficult.

2. If you can write, you can blog.

3. Blogging for profit is harder.

I will not go as far as to say it is hard to draw a secondary income from blogging, but it is definitely harder than most individuals think.

It is not just about creating material and putting up some advertisements from respective companies or affiliates.

It requires good writing, research, product curation, advertisement placement, and building an audience to name some things

There are a lot of skills required to make a blog successful, all of which you will need to learn.

If I can give you any advice you need to know about blogging is…

You need to blog for the long run or not at all.

A lot of blogs don’t make it in the first few months.

Heck most people don’t even make it that far.

At the first sign of failure or roadblock they neglect their blogs and move on the the next shiny thing.

While some bloggers are blessed with blogs that see earnings during the first few months, most people have to remain consistent for at least a year or even longer.

This is why you should pick a niche that you at least enjoy.

Stick with it and learn everything you need to learn to make money with your blog.

General purpose or multi-topic blogs have difficulty developing a readership.

Work on making your blog specialized and you will create results much quicker.

Brainstorm the topics that you care about most, then pick one and blog about it exclusively.

One Blog At a Time

Don’t be in a rush to have multiple blogs.

Start with one and work it until it can sustain itself with little effort.

Once you get the hang of things, then you might consider branching out with additional blogs.

The fact is that many people do not have the drive or stamina to blog for income successfully.

If you’re not sure try it out with your very own blog using the Blogger platform or the WordPress platform.

Feel it out for a few weeks.

If, by the end of this time, you have stuck with it and find you like blogging, go ahead and commit yourself to taking things to the next level by hosting your very own blog.

How I Started My Blog Venture

I started my blog venture with giving it a shot for 30 consecutive days.

I told myself after 30 days I would re-evaluate and go from there.

Since I started blogging I’ve come to enjoy writing posts and sharing my knowledge.

That’s what fuels me to continue with my efforts and to provide the best content I can to my readers.

When it all comes down to it ENJOY YOURSELF.

This is the key to successful blogging.

People will see the passion you have in the work you provide.

If it becomes a chore to you people will also see it as such and will not respond properly.

Let your work express who you are and good things will happen.

Best Wishes!

Free Marketing Methods

Free Marketing Methods to Generate Targeted Traffic

Free Marketing MethodsWhen it comes to having a blog or website generating traffic is vital.

With no traffic you have nobody reading your work and no opportunity to make sales.

This is a big problem if you’re looking to have a business that creates freedom for your life.

You need traffic if you want to succeed online, but with that traffic comes patience if you’re in a position like I was when I first started online.

I had no extra money to use for paid traffic strategies.

This left me in a bind, but I didn’t give up.

I figured out alternate ways to get traffic, which lead me down a new path of learning free marketing strategies to generate free targeted traffic to my blog and squeeze pages.

While free methods take more time to build your business as opposed to paid methods, they work extremely well once the ground work is laid and you begin to get a constant flow of traffic.

The past week has been hectic for me and I hadn’t had much time to do a blog post.

With the free marketing methods I’ve used to build my business the flow of traffic to my blog has stayed consistent because of the previous work I’ve put into my blog.

Traffic flows to my website whether I do work or not because of the groundwork I’ve laid with free marketing methods.

Eventually you will get to a point where you are getting sales consistently and doing it on autopilot.

It all starts with a foundation.

If you have the time free marketing methods can outperform paid advertising methods in terms of generating traffic.

I know this from experience.

There are all kinds of free marketing methods that you can use to take your business to the next level.

Look at all the different options that you have at your disposal.

It’s phenomenal!

Free Marketing MethodsYou have article marketing, video marketing, forum marketing, blogging. search engine marketing, blog commenting, email marketing, affiliate programs, and many more.

These are some of the free methods I use and they have worked wonders for my business.

By taking the time to combine all of the free strategies you can create a ton of traffic daily for your business.

When you get to a point where you are making sales you can use that money to put back into your business to generate customers through paid traffic methods.

Just think of the traffic you can get using both free and paid strategies.

With that being said you have to start somewhere.

You must have a plan and work that plan.

Not everything has to be done quickly, if you build a foundation first you have something to fall back on if things don’t go according to plan.

With free marketing methods you learn more about yourself and how to run your business effectively from the ground up.

You have that foundation built.

If you make mistakes from using paid traffic methods and lose the money you have in your budget you still know how to get traffic to your site free.

Your business doesn’t have to completely suffer until you get the money to generate more traffic to make the necessary tweaks to generate sales.

This is why free marketing methods should be a part of your marketing strategy in the beginning.

My 3 Biggest Free Marketing Methods That Generate Consistent Traffic

1. Youtube VideosFree Marketing Methods

YouTube has been one of my best sources of traffic.

If you stay consistent with posting videos and learning how to search engine optimize your videos in YouTube you can generate lots of traffic in a short period of time.

YouTube is one of the largest visited sites on the internet.

What a wonderful source to get traffic back to your website by doing videos that people find informative and helpful.

You can link your videos back to your website or post and get people to check out your site to see what you have going on.

I’ve generated thousands of views just off one YouTube video before.

Your videos don’t have to be extra long.

I usually do videos anywhere in between 2-5 minutes.

Just make sure you are being yourself in the videos and people will resonate with them.

As time goes on you can learn how to edit and add things to your videos to make them look much better.

Just don’t be afraid to post.

Free Marketing Methods2. Blog Commenting

Blog Commenting has been a fulfilling traffic generating method to use.

Since I’ve started going to other blogs in the community it has increased my traffic, improved my comments, and has grown my list in a fairly quick time period.

Blog commenting takes a lot of time going to other people’s blog, reading their work, and making quality blog comments.

Two things I’ve learned is that you actually learn much better that way to improve your blog.

And you actually create genuine relationships and friendships with other people in your niche that can assist you with leveraging your business if you are sharing each other’s work.

You should take a block of time out of your day to frequent some of the most active bloggers in your niche space and begin building a relationship with them through blog commenting.

You will begin to see a spike in your traffic and interaction in no time.

Free Marketing Methods3. Search Engine Optimization

SEO has been a journey, but slowly has been building loads of traffic to my blog daily.

It’s a strategy that I have used to build a strong foundation by getting my blog posts ranked in the search engines for views.

When people type in a specific keyword in a search engine they get to my website because my articles where one of the one’s that popped up in their search.

This is nothing, but free targeted traffic!

It has took much time to get my articles ranked in the search engines, but has been well worth it because once the work is done it’s done.

I am constantly looking for better and more effective ways to improve my SEO efforts and it has been a rewarding task seeing the many people that frequent my blog due to the SEO techniques I’ve learned to apply in my business.

If you’re looking to take your business to new heights you should be learning and applying free marketing methods into your business as often as possible.

By using free methods you give yourself the ability to get a constant flow of traffic without having to pay.

With paid traffic you get a flow of traffic only for the amount of traffic you can pay for.

With free marketing methods you can get a consistent flow of traffic for a longer period of time.

In my opinion you should be learning how to apply free marketing methods to your business before moving to paid methods.

They’ve done great things for my business and I’m sure it can for yours as well.

Best Wishes!

Change

Moving Day: A Much Needed Change

This weekend, instead of blogging, I spent my days off moving into a new place.

Together with my girlfriend, we moved all of our plus her mother’s belongings into new apartments.

Moving itself is already a strenuous task; add having to move someone else’s belongings as well and it became daunting.

Somehow the two of us managed to move what felt like a million boxes and the heaviest dining room table in creation with only a few bumps and bruises.

While this was a welcome change, the move brought to light tons of things little things we didn’t realize we needed.

Things we had left behind or thought we didn’t need to bother with and found out later how wrong we were.

Small things like a trash can become a big deal when you have no place to put your garbage.

Toilet paper becomes a red alarm issue when you can’t recall where you packed it.

Needing a can opener officially became a hunt along the lines of National Treasure that almost brought on an argument.

All those same little things compiled can overwhelm you when your dealing with a new environment.

Suddenly our great new apartment wasn’t as shiny and pretty as it had been before we realized what we were lacking.

We allowed the details to block out the bigger picture.

I had to stop and remind myself that while things weren’t immediately perfect, I was starting a new chapter with my family.

That stepping stone was to be celebrated.

When we are deciding whether to start that new venture it can be much the same anxiety.

Details like having the right amount of time or the perfect amount of start up money can throw us off our dreams.

Instead of celebrating that you have made the decision to pursue your dream, little doubts crowd around and remind you of all the little things you might have overlooked or forgotten to plan for.

How can your new business possibly be successful when you’ve managed to miss so many things?

We all as individuals do our best to plan for every outcome, to be prepared.

Yet regardless of how prepared you are, there will always be something that arises that you didn’t have a contingency plan for.

It’s impossible to have everything under your control.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t appreciate the bigger view.

Change is scary.

Routines become comfortable because you know what to expect.

You can feel confident in knowing nothing will happen that you aren’t reasonably prepared for.

So the notion of embarking on a new field of training or a new business can be frightening.

You cannot guarantee your outcome and who knows what may happen along the journey.

But isn’t that apart of the joy of it?

Change is a wonderful thing.

It allows you to grow and become a better person.

Change forces you out of your comfort zone and makes you stretch your mind in ways you maybe wouldn’t have sitting in those same familiar surroundings.

Yes, change is scary but it’s also exhilarating and a great teaching tool.

Pep Talk

There’s Nothing Like a Pep Talk

Today I needed a bit of inspiration.

Not feeling like my usual self I got an unexpected call.

I’ve been wanting to take my business to the next level and actually got a call today from a potential mentor.

Blogging has been a part of my daily activities for the past 4 months.

While things have been moving along at an exciting pace for me I find myself getting stuck some days.

Not really feeling like my vision has a clear path.

The call was much needed and the pep talk has given me new inspiration.

When it comes to blogging or anything online you think you can do it all alone.

Don’t make it so difficult!

There are many people who have walked in your same shoes and have been through the fire.

Why not open yourself up and ask for help?

One thing you’ve got to realize is that ego can get in the way and instead of leading you in the right direction it can hinder you and ever worse hold you back from getting the thing you desire most.

Get Rid of the Ego

These past few months have been difficult for me personally because of EGO and PRIDE.

Not wanting to ask for help, not wanting to seek guidance, and not wanting to take a step back to really see where I’ve been and where I’m going.

Life is funny like that at times, but no matter how many times you mess up you have the opportunity to make a change and fix it.

The change must start within.

And to start that change from within you must let go of that ego.

You can’t make a change if you don’t realize there is a problem first.

I get it…

It’s hard really taking a serious look at yourself and realizing that you need to change.

Realizing that what you’re doing isn’t leading you to the promise land.

It’s hard, but it’s necessary if you want to do better.

It’s easy to get comfortable and think that what you have or where you are at is all that life has to offer.

You’ve got to continue to make yourself uncomfortable if you desire more out of life.

You Get What You Put In

Nothing worth having in life comes easy.

You’re going to have to buckle down and be uncomfortable for a bit.

Change is uncomfortable and until you’re ready to change you’ll continue to get the same results you’ve been getting in your life.

I’ve made the decision to really make a change in my life with many aspects.

Really taking a look at the things I’ve become comfortable with in my life and deciding that something different needs to be done.

3 Steps to Making a Change In Your Life

Knowing yourself is the most important thing a person can have in this life.

If you don’t know who you are you’ll let people and things influence you.

Don’t be that person.

Take control of your life and take a stand on who you want to be.

If you’re stuck, lost, or confused about things going on in your life right now follow these steps:

1. Write Down the Change You Desire

One of the issues with most people is they don’t know what they want.

I lot of people know what they don’t want, but can’t necessarily pinpoint the things they do want.

Take out a few sheets of paper and pencil and jot down everything that comes to mind that you want out of life.

Write down the what’s going right in your life and what’s not going so right.

Find solutions to the problems you’re having and get started on making them happen.

Make a list of your good qualities and the qualities you need to improve on.

There’s a site that I found that gives you exercises in figuring out who you are and how to improve.

Check it out when you get a chance and complete the exercises => Know Thyself <=.

They worked wonders for me and I hope the same for you.

If you can find someone to do them with you even better.

2. Find Someone to Hold You Accountable

When it comes to making change it’s not going to be easy to do it alone.

If you don’t have anyone to hold you accountable for the things you’re supposed to be doing to change, you will easily revert back to your same old ways.

The person you are has become a habit and you’re comfortable with it.

It’s not going to be easy to make the changes you desire if you don’t have someone to assist you along the way.

After writing down the changes you desire share it with someone.

This exercise helps you to put your ego to the side and helps you build a better relationship.

It’s okay to be vulnerable.

You can also invite them to do the exercises with you.

3. Go Over You Exercises Daily

There’s no point of completing the exercises if you’re just going to go over them one time.

If you want to make a lasting change you must review them daily until the words become a part of you.

Review them a least twice a day.

Once before bed and once when you wake up.

Any other time during the day is icing on the cake.

Use your words to fuel you.

Keep the change you desire most on your mind and you will begin to see you new you over time.

It’s going to take some practice, but it’s all worth it in the end if you truly want to make a lasting change.

Begin today to create the life you want.

Don’t allow others to shape who you are.

Take life head on and master yourself.

Best Wishes!

List Building

Why You Should Be List Building From Day One

If you want to create a lasting business for the long-term then list building should be one of your go-to methods.

It’s one of the surest and proven ways to make money over and over again if done correctly.

When I say list building I mean email marketing.

Building a list of subscribers who are looking for a solution to a problem.

Your goal should be to bridge that gap.

If you take the time to build a genuine relationship with your subscribers then your chances of earning money through your list building efforts increase tremendously.

The first dollar I ever made online was through list building and it will continue to be one of my main methods of earning money online.

Today I want to discuss with you why list building is important, what you’ll need to get started, and why you don’t need a huge list to make money.

Let’s get started…

Why Is List Building Important?

At some point in time with your online ventures, if you haven’t heard it already, you will hear the term “the money is in the list.”

It refers to the fact that perhaps THE single most important thing you can be doing while building your online business is to have an email list of subscribers who are interested in the information your are providing in a chosen niche.

The more subscribers you get, the more of a chance you will have to earn money with your business everyday.

And the best part is you get to make sales over-and-over again as long as you are providing your list with quality information and products.

In business it’s often said that the single biggest cost is acquiring new customers.

It’s not always easy finding people to purchase your products.

It can take lots of time and can even cost lots of money depending on how you’re going about your list building efforts.

If you have a list of people who are willing to buy from you it should be your best interest to keep them on a list for potential future purchases.

It makes little sense to go through the effort of acquiring new customers and letting them walk away never to return again.

By building a list you create the opportunity to communicate on a regular basis.

Over time you build a relationship with your subscribers and as they come to trust you more it becomes easier to sell them higher ticket items.

Most people who opt-in to your list will not purchase on the first time.

You will have to send them multiple offers and information before they even consider buying from you.

With list building you have the opportunity to create that relationship of trust, therefore giving you a better chance of making the sale.

3 List Building Tools You’ll Need

3 List Building Tools

1. Blog/Website- You’re going to need a place to send people to check out your offer, product, or services.

Having a blog or website gives you the medium to send people to begin your pitch to get people to opt-in to your list.

You want to make sure that your website is set up in a way that is easy to capture leads and easy for them to be able to provide you with their information.

You should have a form asking people to enter their email address in return for something of value.

This could include an ebook, software, information, tools, updates, videos, etc.

Anything that will get them to enter their information into your email form.

2. Autoresponder

Click to Get Started Free

You’re going to need a place to house those leads.

This is the purpose of an autoresponder.

It allows you the ability to be able to keep all of your subscribers in one location to send out emails whenever you want.

You don’t have to email people one-by-one.

You can send to everyone on your list or a select group.

Emails can be scheduled at different times and can even be preset to send out on different days.

The entire process can be automated or you can email them daily.

The autoresponder service I use is GetResponse.

It’s one of the best services out and they offer some awesome training if you’re just getting started.

Check it out…You’re first 30 days are FREE!

3. Traffic

Click For Traffic Generation

There’s no point of having the first two tools if you can’t get traffic to your website.

You can do free marketing or paid marketing to generate traffic.

Some free ways to generate traffic include seo, blog commenting, video marketing, forum marketing, and social media.

Paid ways could include solo ads, ppc, banners ads, or ad-networks.

It’s probably best to start off figuring out how to generate traffic through free methods.

Once you have that down, then you can work your way into paying for traffic to get a steady flow.

It all depends on your goals, your time, and your budget.

You Don’t Need a Ton of Subscribers

If you’re looking to make your first dollar online you don’t need a ton of subscribers to do it.

The very first list I had was composed of less than 1,000 subscribers and I went on to make over a couple thousand dollars with that list and I spent nothing.

On one of my very first campaigns with the list I made $1,106 with just one email.

I’ve known other marketers online who have made lots of money with just a list of 50 subscribers.

If you’re making money with only 50 subscribers consistently, then you’re getting a 2% conversion rate for your email marketing campaigns – which is pretty good.

It’s all in the quality of your product and the relationship you build with your list.

It makes no difference if you’re selling your own product or someone else’s, a list is essential if you want to make consistent money online.

If you’re looking to make money online you should get started list building as soon as possible.

The sooner you get started the better your chances of making money.

Focus on getting traffic to your blog or website and work on building a relationship with your subscribers through your autoresponder messages.

You don’t need a huge list to make your first dollar online.

Don’t get discouraged.

Make the necessary adjustments until you get it right.

Also, don’t forget to share on social media.

Blog Commenting

Becoming a Blog Commenting Extraordinaire

I’ve been on a blog commenting blitz lately and boy oh boy is it working.

I’ve spent time really putting in the effort to check out other people’s blogs, read their content, and make real genuine comments.

I set aside anywhere from 1-2 hours daily to frequent these blogs and give my input.

Not only have I learned so much through the stories of other bloggers, I genuinely enjoy reading about other people’s tips, successes, and failures with online business.

And even better I have also seen a boost in my daily traffic to my blog.

All through blog commenting.

It’s amazing the results got so far since really going hard to implement this strategy into my daily routine.

If you have a blog or website one of the best ways to increase your traffic should be done through blog commenting.

Experimenting With Blog Commenting

Through different forums I heard a lot of people express how well the strategy works to improve a blog’s performance.

Initially, experimenting with it as a link building tactic on high traffic blogs I began blog commenting mainly for SEO purposes.

On the days I performed these link building tactics I began seeing spikes of traffic to my website.

Not only did my traffic increase, but people were actually commenting on my blog and leaving engaging blog comments.

You see, if you comment on do follow blogs you have to enter your name, email, and website.

When you leave a comment on someone else’s blog it gets linked back to your website.

By leaving quality and engaging comments on the posts people generally want to learn about you and come to check out your blog.

Not only do you borrow other bloggers traffic, you also increase the strength of your blog in the search engines through building quality backlinks.

Blog Commenting With A Purpose

There are many bloggers online who blog just to make money.

They post links for affiliate products all over the web and write inconsistent posts while never taking the time to interact and build relationships with PEOPLE.

One thing I’ve learned about blogging is the importance of networking.

Blogging done correctly is a people business built through relationships.

Really being interested in people and showing them that you care through solving problems and creating lasting friendships.

If you come into this business only focused on money I guarantee you will not succeed.

The money is a result of the work and value you provide to your market.

Building the Right Relationships

If you’re going to spend time on blog commenting then do it the right way.

Bloggers appreciate it when you participate on their blogs.

You help to build their community and many bloggers will often return the favor if they feel your comments are genuine.

They should be informative, from the heart, and respectful.

By doing this you can create relationships with bloggers can that allow you the opportunity to do guest posts or even get a mentor.

You should always be learning, growing, and implementing as a blogger.

Surrounding yourself with those who’ve been there or are going through the same journey as you creates success.

I feel so motivated after speaking with like-minded individuals in my niche.

If you’re serious about taking your blog and business to the next level then blog commenting should be a part of your arsenal.

Take some time to spend throughout your day going to other people’s blogs to comment.

You can easily do a Google search on blogs in your niche and begin checking out the one’s you enjoy most to do some blog commenting.

Take a trial run at it and see how much your business improves over time.

Motivation

3 Ways to Inspire Motivation in YOU

I decided to take a break yesterday from blogging because that was my way to celebrate my 100th blog post.

I believe when it comes to business you have to find a balance that supports both your personal and business goals.

I enjoyed the day hanging out at Barnes and Noble reading and playing Chess on my computer.

It’s one of my favorite places to go when I just want to get away.

It was quite pleasing being able to plan out the rest of my week and getting things together for this move next week.

Although my life has been a roller coaster ride lately I’m moving into a new place.

It’s a lot more spacious and I think it will allow me the ability to be more creative.

While not my dream location I hope to continue growing my blog and pursuing my online business to take me where I want to go with attaining the things I desire out of life.

I still have debt (Student Loans/Credit Card) and want to have that taken care of in the next few years.

So my goal is to grind it out until then.

While going through all these thoughts yesterday it really made me think of motivation and what motivates the successful to do what they do to achieve their dreams.

My thoughts…

Does Motivation Lead to Success?

While I don’t think being motivated is an indicator of success, I do believe without motivation one can’t be very successful.

We all go through periods where we don’t do the things we know we should be doing to make our lives better.

But that’s what separates those who get stuff done from those who don’t.

There’s some force, power, or thing that gets them going even when they don’t want to.

Motivation plays an important role in the daily living of a person who wants more out of life and more out of themselves.

Many people in this world have successfully achieved their most important goals in life because of the motivation they displayed while going for their wildest dreams and deepest desires.

By applying motivation to tasks in your life you can move mountains and achieve many things you never thought possible.

3 Ways to Inspire Motivation

1. Set Goals For Yourself

Motivation can be inspired by setting a goal or goals for yourself.

I had this blog on my mind for a long time before actually starting it and being serious about it.

I decided to set the goal and give myself three months of constant blogging to see where I could take it.

Never could I have thought I’d actually make it this far, but I wrote it down and did what I had to do each day.

Motivation has a very strong connection to the concentration of an individual who aims for a very special thing.

Such claim is very applicable in the process of attaining a very important goal in life or a very significant opportunity which can lead a person to success.

I concentrated on it and have had some successes I would have never thought possible a few months back when I had very readers.

Through goal setting and consistent effort I get regular visitors and new visitors daily from all across the world.

It all started with one goal.

Not only has my motivation to blog become a habit, it’s become a necessity.

2. Be Excited About What You’re Doing

Being excited about what you’re doing increases motivation by a lot.

How many times how you been exciting about something only to not do it?

Not very often if at all right?

If you do a thing that enjoy you don’t really need to have motivation to do it.

That’s the importance of being passionate about something.

You do it because you love it.

If you can figure out a way to monetize even better for you, but whether you make money doing it or not it’s still a part of who you are.

Be excited about life and put yourself in a position to where the things you are doing don’t feel like a job or tasks, but a natural progression into what you enjoy.

3. Build A Support Circle Around You

Motivation comes a lot easier when you are surrounded by people who support you.

If you currently don’t have a support circle to keep you motivated with your endeavors figure out how to get around one.

You don’t always have to have a support system in place already.

Go out there and get one.

There are many people out in the world that have similar interests to you.

Find where they are and support them.

You must give before you can get.

It’s amazing the response I’ve got from reaching out to other bloggers on the net by supporting them.

The amount of love and support I’ve got is amazing and keeps me going when growing my online business.

Motivation is a state of mind that should become a part of your daily routine.

It can open up your mind to the possibilities life has to offer if you go for your dreams.

There have been many people who’ve successfully achieved their dreams with the help of motivation.

Changing the frame of mind and taking consistent action daily.

Once you learn how to harness this power you can overcome many challenges in life.

Motivation has the ability to boost your confidence and self-esteem in ways you never thought possible.

Begin to make your change today and find something that can motivate you.

Blog Post

Yeah Buddy..My 100th Blog Post! My Story

My 100th Blog Post…I’m so EXCITED!

Back in February I decided to create www.bjhenderson.net on a whim because I wanted a life of freedom.

Freedom from a job.

Freedom from a boss.

Freedom from traffic.

Financial freedom.

And the freedom from stress.

Well maybe not stress, I think that’s a part of life.

But hopefully you get the point.

It all started with one blog post and today marks my 100th blog post.

It’s quite amazing to me actually because it’s not easy coming up with blog post ideas everyday.

While there is a ton of information and things to share online it gets difficult coming up with material you feel can be entertaining or beneficial to your readers.

A lot of times I question my topics or information and spend hours just trying to come up with content.

I’m pretty sure I make it difficult on myself, but I’ve learned to just write and post no matter what.

Out of the 3 plus months I’ve been blogging I’m pretty sure I’ve only missed one day.

It’s become habit for me now and getting myself into the habit of doing a blog post a day has created subscribers, readers, and a bit of income for me.

What I’ve Learned While Blogging

I’ve learned so much about seach engine optimization (SEO), writing quality content, blog commenting, and forum marketing.

My background was in email marketing before deciding to blog, but I felt like it would be a good addition to my repertoire of working towards becoming a full-time internet marketer.

While there are still some skills I feel I need to master and some habits I need to break, I’ve realized how far I’ve come with my 100th blog post.

There are so many components to internet marketing, but it’s been a humbling experience learning everything I’ve learned up to this point.

I’ve had my roadblocks, days I’ve wanted to quit, and many days of questioning if this was a good idea.

As I’ve hit my 100th blog post today it’s all been worth it.

The relationships I’ve built and the direction my business is going is all looking good.

There are days I stress with things going on with my blog, but I continue to write and worry about the rest later.

One thing I’ve learned with online business is that consistency is important to having a successful business.

Not only is consistency important, but having a strong desire and will to succeed go a long way.

Don’t Get Discouraged

It’s easy to get discouraged when you’re just starting out and there is so much information to process.

The overload can be unbearable sometimes.

Finding the right plan, tools, and resources can go a long way.

If you can also find a mentor you can grow your business by leaps and bounds, but that takes the effort of you showing that you’re in it for the long haul.

Nobody wants to work with you if you’re not going to listen or take the business serious.

Do what you can on your own and good things will happen.

If you have any questions you can join Warrior Forum or ask questions from other bloggers who are further ahead than you.

Don’t be afraid to reach out to people or ask questions.

Not everyone is going to reply, but don’t get discouraged.

Figure it out and keep it moving.

In due time you’ll make it to your 100th blog post and you can begin working and new goals for your business and getting to your 200th blog post.

I hope you enjoyed the read.
