Money With a Blog

Is Making Money With a Blog Fact or Fiction?

When I speak to people about the subject of blogging it goes so far over their heads it’s not even worth justifying what it is I do as a business.

Some people have an open mind and some don’t.

I think that’s what separates entrepreneurs from those who enjoy the comfort of working a job.

While the internet isn’t new people still don’t believe that people make money with a blog.

And for those that do believe it want it done the easy way.

When I’ve told people I’ve made money online their antenna goes up and they are ready to listen to what I have to say.

It’s pretty amusing.

While the concept of making money with a blog seems easy, the actual work required to make money isn’t in the early stages.

Isn’t that how it goes with most businesses offline?

Often times people can’t make that same correlation and end up quitting or announcing to the world that making money with a blog isn’t possible.

Well I’m here to tell you that it is possible.

You must have the right mindset, an effective plan, and take massive action.

What’s Blogging About?

Well in a nutshell bloggers write about things going on in their niche.

Individuals read it and they make profits from advertising, personal products, or commissions on products that get sold.

For those of us that have been doing it for a while, it’s simple.

For the beginner who’s just getting started, not so much.

It’s important to realize what you’re getting into.

A blog should not be taken lightly.

Lots of people come into blogging as a hobby and treat it as such.

If you have a blog just to have one that’s fine, but if you want to make money with a blog you should treat it as a business.

A few things to consider before dedicating yourself to a blog:

1. Blogging in itself isn’t difficult.

2. If you can write, you can blog.

3. Blogging for profit is harder.

I will not go as far as to say it is hard to draw a secondary income from blogging, but it is definitely harder than most individuals think.

It is not just about creating material and putting up some advertisements from respective companies or affiliates.

It requires good writing, research, product curation, advertisement placement, and building an audience to name some things

There are a lot of skills required to make a blog successful, all of which you will need to learn.

If I can give you any advice you need to know about blogging is…

You need to blog for the long run or not at all.

A lot of blogs don’t make it in the first few months.

Heck most people don’t even make it that far.

At the first sign of failure or roadblock they neglect their blogs and move on the the next shiny thing.

While some bloggers are blessed with blogs that see earnings during the first few months, most people have to remain consistent for at least a year or even longer.

This is why you should pick a niche that you at least enjoy.

Stick with it and learn everything you need to learn to make money with your blog.

General purpose or multi-topic blogs have difficulty developing a readership.

Work on making your blog specialized and you will create results much quicker.

Brainstorm the topics that you care about most, then pick one and blog about it exclusively.

One Blog At a Time

Don’t be in a rush to have multiple blogs.

Start with one and work it until it can sustain itself with little effort.

Once you get the hang of things, then you might consider branching out with additional blogs.

The fact is that many people do not have the drive or stamina to blog for income successfully.

If you’re not sure try it out with your very own blog using the Blogger platform or the WordPress platform.

Feel it out for a few weeks.

If, by the end of this time, you have stuck with it and find you like blogging, go ahead and commit yourself to taking things to the next level by hosting your very own blog.

How I Started My Blog Venture

I started my blog venture with giving it a shot for 30 consecutive days.

I told myself after 30 days I would re-evaluate and go from there.

Since I started blogging I’ve come to enjoy writing posts and sharing my knowledge.

That’s what fuels me to continue with my efforts and to provide the best content I can to my readers.

When it all comes down to it ENJOY YOURSELF.

This is the key to successful blogging.

People will see the passion you have in the work you provide.

If it becomes a chore to you people will also see it as such and will not respond properly.

Let your work express who you are and good things will happen.

Best Wishes!

Blog Commenting

Becoming a Blog Commenting Extraordinaire

I’ve been on a blog commenting blitz lately and boy oh boy is it working.

I’ve spent time really putting in the effort to check out other people’s blogs, read their content, and make real genuine comments.

I set aside anywhere from 1-2 hours daily to frequent these blogs and give my input.

Not only have I learned so much through the stories of other bloggers, I genuinely enjoy reading about other people’s tips, successes, and failures with online business.

And even better I have also seen a boost in my daily traffic to my blog.

All through blog commenting.

It’s amazing the results got so far since really going hard to implement this strategy into my daily routine.

If you have a blog or website one of the best ways to increase your traffic should be done through blog commenting.

Experimenting With Blog Commenting

Through different forums I heard a lot of people express how well the strategy works to improve a blog’s performance.

Initially, experimenting with it as a link building tactic on high traffic blogs I began blog commenting mainly for SEO purposes.

On the days I performed these link building tactics I began seeing spikes of traffic to my website.

Not only did my traffic increase, but people were actually commenting on my blog and leaving engaging blog comments.

You see, if you comment on do follow blogs you have to enter your name, email, and website.

When you leave a comment on someone else’s blog it gets linked back to your website.

By leaving quality and engaging comments on the posts people generally want to learn about you and come to check out your blog.

Not only do you borrow other bloggers traffic, you also increase the strength of your blog in the search engines through building quality backlinks.

Blog Commenting With A Purpose

There are many bloggers online who blog just to make money.

They post links for affiliate products all over the web and write inconsistent posts while never taking the time to interact and build relationships with PEOPLE.

One thing I’ve learned about blogging is the importance of networking.

Blogging done correctly is a people business built through relationships.

Really being interested in people and showing them that you care through solving problems and creating lasting friendships.

If you come into this business only focused on money I guarantee you will not succeed.

The money is a result of the work and value you provide to your market.

Building the Right Relationships

If you’re going to spend time on blog commenting then do it the right way.

Bloggers appreciate it when you participate on their blogs.

You help to build their community and many bloggers will often return the favor if they feel your comments are genuine.

They should be informative, from the heart, and respectful.

By doing this you can create relationships with bloggers can that allow you the opportunity to do guest posts or even get a mentor.

You should always be learning, growing, and implementing as a blogger.

Surrounding yourself with those who’ve been there or are going through the same journey as you creates success.

I feel so motivated after speaking with like-minded individuals in my niche.

If you’re serious about taking your blog and business to the next level then blog commenting should be a part of your arsenal.

Take some time to spend throughout your day going to other people’s blogs to comment.

You can easily do a Google search on blogs in your niche and begin checking out the one’s you enjoy most to do some blog commenting.

Take a trial run at it and see how much your business improves over time.

Blog Post

Yeah Buddy..My 100th Blog Post! My Story

My 100th Blog Post…I’m so EXCITED!

Back in February I decided to create www.bjhenderson.net on a whim because I wanted a life of freedom.

Freedom from a job.

Freedom from a boss.

Freedom from traffic.

Financial freedom.

And the freedom from stress.

Well maybe not stress, I think that’s a part of life.

But hopefully you get the point.

It all started with one blog post and today marks my 100th blog post.

It’s quite amazing to me actually because it’s not easy coming up with blog post ideas everyday.

While there is a ton of information and things to share online it gets difficult coming up with material you feel can be entertaining or beneficial to your readers.

A lot of times I question my topics or information and spend hours just trying to come up with content.

I’m pretty sure I make it difficult on myself, but I’ve learned to just write and post no matter what.

Out of the 3 plus months I’ve been blogging I’m pretty sure I’ve only missed one day.

It’s become habit for me now and getting myself into the habit of doing a blog post a day has created subscribers, readers, and a bit of income for me.

What I’ve Learned While Blogging

I’ve learned so much about seach engine optimization (SEO), writing quality content, blog commenting, and forum marketing.

My background was in email marketing before deciding to blog, but I felt like it would be a good addition to my repertoire of working towards becoming a full-time internet marketer.

While there are still some skills I feel I need to master and some habits I need to break, I’ve realized how far I’ve come with my 100th blog post.

There are so many components to internet marketing, but it’s been a humbling experience learning everything I’ve learned up to this point.

I’ve had my roadblocks, days I’ve wanted to quit, and many days of questioning if this was a good idea.

As I’ve hit my 100th blog post today it’s all been worth it.

The relationships I’ve built and the direction my business is going is all looking good.

There are days I stress with things going on with my blog, but I continue to write and worry about the rest later.

One thing I’ve learned with online business is that consistency is important to having a successful business.

Not only is consistency important, but having a strong desire and will to succeed go a long way.

Don’t Get Discouraged

It’s easy to get discouraged when you’re just starting out and there is so much information to process.

The overload can be unbearable sometimes.

Finding the right plan, tools, and resources can go a long way.

If you can also find a mentor you can grow your business by leaps and bounds, but that takes the effort of you showing that you’re in it for the long haul.

Nobody wants to work with you if you’re not going to listen or take the business serious.

Do what you can on your own and good things will happen.

If you have any questions you can join Warrior Forum or ask questions from other bloggers who are further ahead than you.

Don’t be afraid to reach out to people or ask questions.

Not everyone is going to reply, but don’t get discouraged.

Figure it out and keep it moving.

In due time you’ll make it to your 100th blog post and you can begin working and new goals for your business and getting to your 200th blog post.

I hope you enjoyed the read.

Blog Traffic Tips to Grow Your Business

If you have a blog you need a constant flow of blog traffic.

There’s no point in having a blog if you don’t have any visitors coming to your site.

When your blog becomes established you don’t have to spend as much time on it, but in the beginning it’s going to take some work to get it going.

Your objective should be to establish your blog as a great source of information that get people coming to back your blog consistently.

With this, you establish a loyal group of followers who can assist you with getting more blog traffic by sharing your information on social media and word-of-mouth.

This is going to take time, but in the meantime there are other ways to get blog traffic.

Today I wanted to discuss some ways you can get blog traffic to your website easily and effectively.

5 Ways to Increase Blog Traffic

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO is a process that deals with optimizing your blog so that it ranks better in the search engines.

This method should be use when writing your blog posts because it’s an awesome source for generating free traffic.

Your blog posts should be written around keywords that people search for on the internet daily.

It requires some research, but once you have a list of keywords you can right posts that are search engine optimized fairly quickly.

SEO is complex and requires a lot of different techniques and strategies that you can learn over time.

To keep it simple for the sake of this post you should focus on creating exceptional content around relevant keywords.

If you have a WordPress blog the “All In One SEO Pack” plugin should be downloaded immediately.

It will help you with writing optimized posts.

2. Blog Commenting

One of the best ways to get blog traffic is through blog commenting.

I use the method daily in my business commenting on different other people’s blogs.

This helps in two ways.

First it gets readers of other blogs to check out your content on your website and second it creates backlinks to help your site in the search engines.

Make sure you are leaving valuable comments on other people’s blog that is engaging and relevant.

Take some time each day to actually read other bloggers posts in your niche and make comments that are useful, informative, and helpful.

If you show people you have something willing to offer they will check out your blog to learn more about you.

3. Forum Posting

Similar to blog commenting you can get blog traffic by posting on forums in your niche.

Posting on forums gives you the opportunity to get your comments seen by people interested in your niche.

People see your posts and then click to check out your blog if you have it linked to your forum signature.

I get tons of visits from commenting and asking questions of different niche specific forums.

Not only does it bring me traffic, but it also builds links to my website making it strong in the search engines.

By regularly posting using this method you can build relationships with people and turn them into regulars on your blog.

4. Social Media

Another source of my blog traffic comes from social media.

Facebook and twitter do wonders for supplying me with a nice source of traffic.

By linking your blog posts to your social media sites you can get friends and family to share them.

This will bring you a steady flow of traffic.

And if you post goes viral who knows how long you can have a flow of traffic?

I’ve known some bloggers get massive flows of traffic for months just because of one blog post that went crazy over the internet.

Don’t overlook social media.

5. Video Marketing

Using video is a great way to get blog traffic.

Many people enjoy watching videos and like to see the face behind the business.

You can use this method to increase your readership and become more relatable to viewers.

People will naturally want to check out your blog.

In your videos you can do a call-to-action on the end to check out your blog and subscribe.

This goes a long way in building credibility with your readers.

Video marketing isn’t difficult, but it will take some practice in building up your confidence to get on video.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.

The more videos you do the more comfortable you’ll get and the better you will become.

These are five methods you can use to instantly gain more blog traffic.

You can master one of perform all five each day.

It will do wonders for increasing your traffic and get your business going in the right direction.

Remain consistent with your efforts and good things will happen.

The best part about these methods is they are all free.

If you can master these you can combine your efforts with paid methods and take your business to new heights.

Blogging: Recycling Old Blog Posts Into New Information

Blogging can be a painstaking task when it comes to creating new content regularly in a specific niche.

If you’ve been blogging for some time now you have a treasure trove of content you’re sitting on and you can use your current content to create new content.

Today I wanted to discuss some ways you can continue to provide valuable content to your readers and not have to stress over the fact of constantly having to come up with new ideas for a post.

5 Blogging Tips for New Content

Update Old Posts

Don’t underestimate old posts.

You can always go back and look at old posts to see if the content is still relevant.

Things change rapidly over the internet so something you once wrote about may not be up-to-date since you last wrote it.

Pick through old posts and find new ways to re-write it or add in some new information.

Is there any new research on the topic that you could cover in a blog post?

Share that with your readers.

As you go through your archives, keep an eye out for ways you can reuse some of those valuable posts that are just sitting in your blog’s archives.

Take a new approach

If you have a way of writing your blog posts you can consider changing your approach.

Are you asking questions?

You can be more interactive with your readers and set up Q&A sessions with them.

The information you get from your readers can be used to turn into new and refreshing blog posts.

Learn something new

Is there a topic you’ve been looking over because you are afraid to tackle it?

Stretch your self and learn something new that can give you more information to give to your readers.

What more can you discover about your niche?

Have your views that you expressed in any old posts changed at all?

Write about how your views have changed–or how they are as firm as ever sharing what has had an impact on your views.

Create a blogging environment that is interaction and constantly evolving.

Tweet old posts

If you have a WordPress blog you can tweet old blog posts and get people talking about those posts.

You can create an interactive discussion with readers and gain new ideas.

You can also tweet old posts and ask readers how you can improve upon them.

Any information you get can be used to update old posts or create totally new posts with the information you received.

More often than not people will be willing to give you the information you need to make your blog better.

Utilize Facebook

Along with Twitter you can utilize Facebook to get more hits and comments to old blog posts.

Post or repost old articles and get people to engage.

You posts can quickly get shared and exchanged all across Facebook creating a frenzy and gaining large amounts of traffic from work that’s already been done.

Sharing your posts and asking question can go a long way in giving you new ideas to create new content.

Don’t look past old content you have created.

Figure out ways to update or make it more refreshing.

Old posts can always be better.

Focus on creating awesome content for your readers.

Blogging doesn’t have to be difficult and don’t allow yourself to make it more difficult with over-thinking things.

5 Ways to Make Extra Money With a Blog

If you have a blog or are thinking about starting one eventually earning some extra money may be in your sights.

There are multiple ways to make extra money with a blog, but it’s your duty to figure out which is going to be best for your and your online business.

Today I want to outline some revenue sources you can ponder to figure out which could be the best way for you to make some extra money with your blog.

You can use a single source or use multiple sources.

It’s best to master one and move on to the next.

Over time your blog can have multiple streams of income coming in and your can virtually have your blog running on auto-pilot receiving multiple checks monthly.

5 Ways to Make Extra Money Blogging

1. Pay Per Click and Pay Per Impression Ads

This is probably the most popular ways to make extra money with a blog.

The concept is fairly simple, but takes time to learn.

For pay per click (PPC) ads, you earn money every time someone clicks on an ad place on your blog.

You set it up and provide traffic to your blog.

You can the advertiser of the ad on your blog will agree ahead of time on the cost per click.

You’ll usually find that products and services that cost more usually have a higher cost per click.

The more clicks you get, the more money you make.

Pay per impression advertising pays you based on the number of impressions your blog gets.

You usually will get paid a certain amount of money per 1,000 impressions.

An impression is the number of times an ad has been displayed whether it’s been clicked or not.

Each time an add is displayed it’s counted as one impression.

Both pay per click and pay per impression ads can be used as banners or text ads.

Usually the more traffic you get to your blog the more money you’ll generate with this form of monetizing your blog.

This method can be used once you build up a good following and can be used as a way to make good money over time.

2. Direct Advertising

Direct advertising is going to look similar to pay per click and pay per impression ads to your traffic, but it works much differently for you.

Instead of making money based on views or clicks, you sell advertising space to advertisers at a set price.

You can the advertiser agree on a price and a time frame of how long their ad will run on your blog for.

If you get a lot of traffic to your blog you can charge advertisers more.

You can sell ads directly to advertisers if you have a list or you can sell ads to marketplaces that connect you to them, such as BuySellAds.

These marketplaces usually take a commission for bringing you together, but it also reduces the amount of work you have to do searching for them.

3. Affiliate Programs

There are many affiliate programs you can join to offer products and services on your blog.

By signing up as an affiliate to these programs you can earn a commission for every sale you generate.

This has been very profitable for many bloggers and marketers online.

It is one of the easiest ways to make extra money if you set up the right marketing strategy.

With your blog it can be mentioned or recommended to your visitors as a way to solver their problems.

Anytime you can mention something that you can sold you should see if there is an affiliate program out there for it.

Simply adding a link to your posts, videos, or review can potentially be profitable for you.

4. Sponsored Reviews

As mentioned earlier one of the ways to make extra money with your blog is with sponsored reviews.

Advertisers are looking for people to promote their products or services with positive reviews.

You can get paid by writing reviews or recommending a products for the advertisers.

If it is a product that you trust and have used you can express how much it can help your readers.

You always want to be trustworthy and only promote stuff that you believe in.

Reaching out to advertisers to promote their products can get you free products to test and promote if they work.

This can be used as a great way to learn and earn at the same time.

5. Promote Your Own Stuff

One of the best and most lucrative ways to make extra money blogging is by creating and promoting your own products and services.

If you take the time to build up an arsenal of loyal fans you can really make extra money with your own stuff.

This is how the big time bloggers and marketers make the meat of their money.

Take the time to build up your blog to a reasonable readership and you can set it up to where people come to you for the go to information they’re seeking.

If you’re looking for ways to make extra money this is probably the best.

It’s going to take some time to get to this point, but once you do, combined with other strategies you can make a reasonable amount of money online.

Starting a blog is going to take work and dedication.

Just like any business, running your own online business can be lucrative for you if you take it seriously.

I’ve discussed some ways to make extra money with a blog and I hope over time you can monetize your blog to supplement or fully replace your income.

You will make mistakes, but having a steady game plan or working that plan you can use these ways to make extra money for any purpose you might have with your life.

Success isn’t going to happen over night, but stick with it and do your best to utilize all these ways to make extra money online over time and take your business to the next level.

Blog Content: How to Come Up With Unlimited Ideas

Blogging is a wonderful thing that can help you get your point across and share your message with the world.

It can be a great way to build a strong community of like-minded people, as well as make some new friends who are interested in your niche.

A good blog will keep people coming back time and time again to see what you have been writing about, so consistent content needs to be posted on your blog weekly.

Starting a blog is straightforward, but maintaining constant blog content can get difficult at times.

Today I wanted to discuss with you some ways that you can come up with ideas for blog content as often as you need to.

5 Sure Ways to Come Up With Blog Content

1. Keep an Idea List

One of the best ways to keep a list of ongoing ideas is to write them down when they come to mind.

Often times we may think of an idea while reading something or just throughout the day and not write it down.

You should write down your ideas immediately so you don’t forget them when you have time to write.

You should also outline some of your thoughts so you can make your post a little easier to do when the time comes.

Don’t let your ideas get away.

Usually ideas come to you when your mind is in a state of flow.

Don’t let those ideas go to waste.

Keep a journal, write on a notecard, or record in your phone.

When the time comes for you to write your blog content you will be prepared.

2. Read Daily

Reading something daily keeps your mind going.

When you exercise your mind with reading, thoughts and ideas tend to flow more easily.

You can read stuff from other people’s blogs in your niche or you can read something that inspires you and gets your creative juices flowing.

Your main objective should be to read things that will improve your expertise on a certain topic to provide interesting and knowledgeable blog content.

3. Answer Questions

Often times other blog readers may ask questions or look for advice.

Use these questions to create blog content and answer their questions in a post.

This works wonders because it shows your readers that you actually read their emails and care about them enough to respond to their questions in a blog post or video.

You can go to other people’s blogs in your niche and check out some of the questions their readers are asking and answer them.

Do your best to provide the answers to the tough questions people are asking.

It will quickly build your credibility and put you in a place of authority and expertise.

Always look to fill a need.

4. Update an Old Blog Post

Go back through your blog and see if there are any old posts you can add to or create an entire new post on one of the points you may have addressed previously.

If something has changed or been updated on an old post you can write a new one discussing the changes.

Maybe you’ve changed your views on something you once wrote and want to discuss why your viewpoints are now different.

It’s perfectly fine to update a new post.

Maybe you can make your posts a series to add some consistency to your blog content.

There are many ways to spin it.

It all boils down to where you want to go with your content.

5. Ask for Ideas from Others

If ideas just aren’t coming to you and nothing seems to be working, just ask.

You can ask other bloggers for ideas, post on social media for ideas, or see if any friends or family have anything to give you.

If you remain consistent you should have enough followers to ask what they’re looking for to provide the right blog content they’re seeking.

Be creative in asking for ideas.

You can turn it into an interactive game and create a buzz to where you get loads of questions and ideas for an unlimited amount of blog content to write about down the road.

Content is the lifeblood of any blog.

Without any blog content people more than likely won’t come back to your blog.

It’s what brings the people in and keeps them coming back for more.

If you’re new to blogging or have been blogging for some time, coming up with new ideas will begin to become a pain and take effort just to think of something worth writing about.

It’s a problem that every writer faces.

I hope these tips can help you continue providing your readers with blog content that keeps them coming back.

Make sure you take it serious and keep a plan of action for success.

Best Wishes!

Blogs are all about connecting with your readers.

As such one of the more important blogger tips you should keep in mind is the maintenance of an about page.

Your readers would love to know more about the person writing their favorite blogs.

Readers can use the about page to know more of your skills, talents and business.

Keeping such a page is incredibly important.

Additionally, you need to ensure that the tone of the about page is similar to the rest of the blog.

At the same time, there should not be any errors particularly for the crucial bits of information such as contact details.

3) Blog Organization

If you have been an avid blogger or if your blog has been around for a long period of time, you will have accumulated a lot of blog posts.

Unless you have implemented a good labeling system, you and your readers will find it intensely difficult to locate a particular blog post.

You should implement a scalable labeling and organizational system in your blog as soon as possible.

Divide you posts into categories and subcategories to ensure that it is extremely easy to search for blogs.

This can reduce a lot of headache in the future.

4) Make Use of the Footer Space

It is true that not all of your readers will be interested in what lies at the end of blog page.

However, some people do end up scrolling to the bottom.

They are usually the ones who are really interested in your blog.

Among the many blogger tips, an important one is that you should not let the footer space be blank.

Keep it just as interesting as the rest of the blog.

You can add links to your archives, latest blog posts, the popular posts or the about page.

5) Create a Calendar for Posts

You can create a virtual or a paper calendar according to your preference.

The calendar will act as a sort of scheduler and planner to remind you of the dates for the latest blog posts.

You can also use the calendar to keep a track of the ideas you wish to include in the future posts.

It will help you remain organized and ensure that you do not miss anything of importance.

6) Avoiding Burnout

It is quite easy to get burnout when you are working daily as a blogger from home.

You need to set your own hours for working.

Moreover, you should not stay cooped up over a single activity.

You can pursue your other interests.

A change of scenery is important especially when you are working in something that is as creative as blogging.

Avoid staying at home all day just to reply to all the emails and comments left by readers.

By going out, you many end up with new inspirations to make use of in your blogs.

These are few of many blogger tips that you can use to improve your blog.

By making use of these tips, you can really make your blog better and hopefully a tremendous success.

Fail with Blogging

Why People Fail With Blogging?

I was just in a forum recently, (http://www.warriorforum.com) and a group of us were having a discussion on reasons why people fail with blogging.

There were so many different views and reasons why people fail at it.

Blogging is a great way to build your presence online and potentially make a living off of, but it comes with a price.

There is a lot of hard work dedicated to creating a place where people want to come and feel comfortable.

A place on the web where people can get the information they are seeking with full confidence that it can help them.

Today I wanted to discuss some reasons why people fail with blogging.

Let’s get started.

3 Reasons Why People Fail With Blogging

1) Picking the wrong niche

In yesterday’s post, How to Find the Right Niche, I discussed the importance of picking the right niche.

This should be the first step in the process of creating your own blog.

If it’s to make money then this is where you should begin.

Picking the wrong niche will cause you a big headache and will ultimately be a waste of time if the niche isn’t profitable.

You will put in loads of time and work for no reason if the niche cannot be monetized.

2) They are too impatient

Often people to into blogging to make a quick buck and in most cases it does not work that way.

Blogging takes effort and you must be passionate about what you are doing.

Otherwise you will not stick with it and your blogging efforts will be short lived.

Most of the successful bloggers I know didn’t start earning money until 6+ months into the business and with that they put in loads of work.

Focus on building a foundation with your blog and learning how to manage it.

Take your time with it and focus on making it the best you can.

In this case patience is truly a virtue with blogging.

3) Lack of consistency

Consistency is important in any endeavor.

Blogging probably is one of the longest processes to make money online.

While you can make money quickly, really building that foundation is the best process for you.

Remaining consistent with you efforts will build your credibility and in time you will learn what it takes to maintain a thriving functioning blog.

Learning how to become a better writer, improve your SEO efforts, and building relationships with your readership.

If you remain consistent with your blogging you can eventually branch out into other ways to make money online, but having a blog should be one of your sources.

These are only a few ways of why people fail with blogging, but these three things are definitely big in why people don’t have success with it.

Blogging is a really effective way to build something lasting and credible.

In my online experience when you have a blog you have a reputation.

People are more likely to see you as an expert and will opt in to your list because of that.

You show people you are real and they get to see many sides of your personality depending on your content.

Blogging is a way to show your knowledge, people will respond well to that over any other form of internet marketing.
