Money With a Blog

Is Making Money With a Blog Fact or Fiction?

When I speak to people about the subject of blogging it goes so far over their heads it’s not even worth justifying what it is I do as a business.

Some people have an open mind and some don’t.

I think that’s what separates entrepreneurs from those who enjoy the comfort of working a job.

While the internet isn’t new people still don’t believe that people make money with a blog.

And for those that do believe it want it done the easy way.

When I’ve told people I’ve made money online their antenna goes up and they are ready to listen to what I have to say.

It’s pretty amusing.

While the concept of making money with a blog seems easy, the actual work required to make money isn’t in the early stages.

Isn’t that how it goes with most businesses offline?

Often times people can’t make that same correlation and end up quitting or announcing to the world that making money with a blog isn’t possible.

Well I’m here to tell you that it is possible.

You must have the right mindset, an effective plan, and take massive action.

What’s Blogging About?

Well in a nutshell bloggers write about things going on in their niche.

Individuals read it and they make profits from advertising, personal products, or commissions on products that get sold.

For those of us that have been doing it for a while, it’s simple.

For the beginner who’s just getting started, not so much.

It’s important to realize what you’re getting into.

A blog should not be taken lightly.

Lots of people come into blogging as a hobby and treat it as such.

If you have a blog just to have one that’s fine, but if you want to make money with a blog you should treat it as a business.

A few things to consider before dedicating yourself to a blog:

1. Blogging in itself isn’t difficult.

2. If you can write, you can blog.

3. Blogging for profit is harder.

I will not go as far as to say it is hard to draw a secondary income from blogging, but it is definitely harder than most individuals think.

It is not just about creating material and putting up some advertisements from respective companies or affiliates.

It requires good writing, research, product curation, advertisement placement, and building an audience to name some things

There are a lot of skills required to make a blog successful, all of which you will need to learn.

If I can give you any advice you need to know about blogging is…

You need to blog for the long run or not at all.

A lot of blogs don’t make it in the first few months.

Heck most people don’t even make it that far.

At the first sign of failure or roadblock they neglect their blogs and move on the the next shiny thing.

While some bloggers are blessed with blogs that see earnings during the first few months, most people have to remain consistent for at least a year or even longer.

This is why you should pick a niche that you at least enjoy.

Stick with it and learn everything you need to learn to make money with your blog.

General purpose or multi-topic blogs have difficulty developing a readership.

Work on making your blog specialized and you will create results much quicker.

Brainstorm the topics that you care about most, then pick one and blog about it exclusively.

One Blog At a Time

Don’t be in a rush to have multiple blogs.

Start with one and work it until it can sustain itself with little effort.

Once you get the hang of things, then you might consider branching out with additional blogs.

The fact is that many people do not have the drive or stamina to blog for income successfully.

If you’re not sure try it out with your very own blog using the Blogger platform or the WordPress platform.

Feel it out for a few weeks.

If, by the end of this time, you have stuck with it and find you like blogging, go ahead and commit yourself to taking things to the next level by hosting your very own blog.

How I Started My Blog Venture

I started my blog venture with giving it a shot for 30 consecutive days.

I told myself after 30 days I would re-evaluate and go from there.

Since I started blogging I’ve come to enjoy writing posts and sharing my knowledge.

That’s what fuels me to continue with my efforts and to provide the best content I can to my readers.

When it all comes down to it ENJOY YOURSELF.

This is the key to successful blogging.

People will see the passion you have in the work you provide.

If it becomes a chore to you people will also see it as such and will not respond properly.

Let your work express who you are and good things will happen.

Best Wishes!

Blog Post

Yeah Buddy..My 100th Blog Post! My Story

My 100th Blog Post…I’m so EXCITED!

Back in February I decided to create www.bjhenderson.net on a whim because I wanted a life of freedom.

Freedom from a job.

Freedom from a boss.

Freedom from traffic.

Financial freedom.

And the freedom from stress.

Well maybe not stress, I think that’s a part of life.

But hopefully you get the point.

It all started with one blog post and today marks my 100th blog post.

It’s quite amazing to me actually because it’s not easy coming up with blog post ideas everyday.

While there is a ton of information and things to share online it gets difficult coming up with material you feel can be entertaining or beneficial to your readers.

A lot of times I question my topics or information and spend hours just trying to come up with content.

I’m pretty sure I make it difficult on myself, but I’ve learned to just write and post no matter what.

Out of the 3 plus months I’ve been blogging I’m pretty sure I’ve only missed one day.

It’s become habit for me now and getting myself into the habit of doing a blog post a day has created subscribers, readers, and a bit of income for me.

What I’ve Learned While Blogging

I’ve learned so much about seach engine optimization (SEO), writing quality content, blog commenting, and forum marketing.

My background was in email marketing before deciding to blog, but I felt like it would be a good addition to my repertoire of working towards becoming a full-time internet marketer.

While there are still some skills I feel I need to master and some habits I need to break, I’ve realized how far I’ve come with my 100th blog post.

There are so many components to internet marketing, but it’s been a humbling experience learning everything I’ve learned up to this point.

I’ve had my roadblocks, days I’ve wanted to quit, and many days of questioning if this was a good idea.

As I’ve hit my 100th blog post today it’s all been worth it.

The relationships I’ve built and the direction my business is going is all looking good.

There are days I stress with things going on with my blog, but I continue to write and worry about the rest later.

One thing I’ve learned with online business is that consistency is important to having a successful business.

Not only is consistency important, but having a strong desire and will to succeed go a long way.

Don’t Get Discouraged

It’s easy to get discouraged when you’re just starting out and there is so much information to process.

The overload can be unbearable sometimes.

Finding the right plan, tools, and resources can go a long way.

If you can also find a mentor you can grow your business by leaps and bounds, but that takes the effort of you showing that you’re in it for the long haul.

Nobody wants to work with you if you’re not going to listen or take the business serious.

Do what you can on your own and good things will happen.

If you have any questions you can join Warrior Forum or ask questions from other bloggers who are further ahead than you.

Don’t be afraid to reach out to people or ask questions.

Not everyone is going to reply, but don’t get discouraged.

Figure it out and keep it moving.

In due time you’ll make it to your 100th blog post and you can begin working and new goals for your business and getting to your 200th blog post.

I hope you enjoyed the read.

Blog Traffic Tips to Grow Your Business

If you have a blog you need a constant flow of blog traffic.

There’s no point in having a blog if you don’t have any visitors coming to your site.

When your blog becomes established you don’t have to spend as much time on it, but in the beginning it’s going to take some work to get it going.

Your objective should be to establish your blog as a great source of information that get people coming to back your blog consistently.

With this, you establish a loyal group of followers who can assist you with getting more blog traffic by sharing your information on social media and word-of-mouth.

This is going to take time, but in the meantime there are other ways to get blog traffic.

Today I wanted to discuss some ways you can get blog traffic to your website easily and effectively.

5 Ways to Increase Blog Traffic

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO is a process that deals with optimizing your blog so that it ranks better in the search engines.

This method should be use when writing your blog posts because it’s an awesome source for generating free traffic.

Your blog posts should be written around keywords that people search for on the internet daily.

It requires some research, but once you have a list of keywords you can right posts that are search engine optimized fairly quickly.

SEO is complex and requires a lot of different techniques and strategies that you can learn over time.

To keep it simple for the sake of this post you should focus on creating exceptional content around relevant keywords.

If you have a WordPress blog the “All In One SEO Pack” plugin should be downloaded immediately.

It will help you with writing optimized posts.

2. Blog Commenting

One of the best ways to get blog traffic is through blog commenting.

I use the method daily in my business commenting on different other people’s blogs.

This helps in two ways.

First it gets readers of other blogs to check out your content on your website and second it creates backlinks to help your site in the search engines.

Make sure you are leaving valuable comments on other people’s blog that is engaging and relevant.

Take some time each day to actually read other bloggers posts in your niche and make comments that are useful, informative, and helpful.

If you show people you have something willing to offer they will check out your blog to learn more about you.

3. Forum Posting

Similar to blog commenting you can get blog traffic by posting on forums in your niche.

Posting on forums gives you the opportunity to get your comments seen by people interested in your niche.

People see your posts and then click to check out your blog if you have it linked to your forum signature.

I get tons of visits from commenting and asking questions of different niche specific forums.

Not only does it bring me traffic, but it also builds links to my website making it strong in the search engines.

By regularly posting using this method you can build relationships with people and turn them into regulars on your blog.

4. Social Media

Another source of my blog traffic comes from social media.

Facebook and twitter do wonders for supplying me with a nice source of traffic.

By linking your blog posts to your social media sites you can get friends and family to share them.

This will bring you a steady flow of traffic.

And if you post goes viral who knows how long you can have a flow of traffic?

I’ve known some bloggers get massive flows of traffic for months just because of one blog post that went crazy over the internet.

Don’t overlook social media.

5. Video Marketing

Using video is a great way to get blog traffic.

Many people enjoy watching videos and like to see the face behind the business.

You can use this method to increase your readership and become more relatable to viewers.

People will naturally want to check out your blog.

In your videos you can do a call-to-action on the end to check out your blog and subscribe.

This goes a long way in building credibility with your readers.

Video marketing isn’t difficult, but it will take some practice in building up your confidence to get on video.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.

The more videos you do the more comfortable you’ll get and the better you will become.

These are five methods you can use to instantly gain more blog traffic.

You can master one of perform all five each day.

It will do wonders for increasing your traffic and get your business going in the right direction.

Remain consistent with your efforts and good things will happen.

The best part about these methods is they are all free.

If you can master these you can combine your efforts with paid methods and take your business to new heights.

Internet Marketing: Selecting the Right Revenue Model For You Business

As the internet continues to grow more opportunities arise for entrepreneurs to earn a living online.

The reason why the internet can be ideal from some is it’s relatively low start-up costs and ease of entry.

Traditional business ventures are usually designated to a certain area, but the with internet you can be accessible to customers all over the world if you set your business up correctly.

Internet marketing is extremely flexible and allows you to work from anywhere at anytime with a laptop and internet connection.

The opportunities are vast online, but before diving in to just anything you must decide which path you want to follow.

If you’ve made it this far I think it’s safe to assume that you’re interested in starting your own online business.

Today I wanted to discuss some revenue models for you to choose from to get your business going in the right direction as soon as possible.

5 Revenue Models to Consider For Your Online Business

1. Blogging

Blogging is one revenue model you can follow.

It’s fairly simple to set-up a blog with WordPress.

You don’t have to know much about HTML and you can get a blog started in a few hours.

You’re objective here is to create valuable content that people enjoy reading and can learn from.

If it solves a problem it’s probably good to right about it.

The options are limitless on the content you can post on your blog to gain readership.

Blogging is a low risk venture that over time can provide you with multiple streams of income through affiliate programs, advertising revenue, AdSense, and promoting your own products to name some things.

Blogging is a good way to build a brand for yourself and positing you as an expert in a given niche.

2. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is one of the most profitable revenue models and the quickest to make a profit.

With affiliate marketing you have the opportunity of promoting other people’s products or services and making a commission based on purchases from customers you send their way.

My first bit of income online was made using this model and I still use it today.

You don’t have to deal with having a blog and posting content regularly.

You can set up a simple squeeze page and send traffic there to build your list and promote products.

This increases your chance of being able to make a sale over and over again.

There is no scarcity of opportunities in affiliate marketing because there are always new products to promote and sell.

However, you have to gain an edge over other affiliate marketers.

Competition is really tough so you should take advantage of every skill you have and learn to create raving fans by showing them who you are through providing good content and building relationships.

3. Niche Marketing

Niche marketing deals with you focusing your marketing on a specific target market.

This requires research, but is very specific and allows you the ability to pinpoint your marketing campaigns.

Most newbies start off finding products to promote to a market.

Experience marketers find a market and provide the market with products that are beneficial.

This is where the revenue comes in.

The difference between a product and a niche is that a product can be on an upwards trend now, but it can become obsolete tomorrow.

Competition isn’t always bad when it comes to niche marketing.

This means that people are spending money and people are making money.

Your objective should be to figure out a way to carve out your own little space in the market by filling a void.

4. Freelancing

This revenue model is a fast way to earn money online.

Are you good at writing, web design, SEO, etc?

Figuring out something you excel in and marketing your services online is a great way to generate quick revenue.

If you learn how to market your skills effectively you can make money in your first day.

The advantage of marketing your core skills as opposed to using them to develop another platform such as a blog is that you earn money immediately rather than having to wait.

Once you build up a strong list of clients you can decide to do it full-time or a way to supplement your current income.

5. Internet Marketing

Internet marketing as a whole is the most competitive revenue models on the net.

It deals with a variety of marketing efforts across the board.

You can work your way to becoming a full-time internet marketer by mastering different revenue generating techniques one-by-one.

It is a collaboration of all the different kinds of online marketing strategies and also involves creative and technical aspects of
the web as well.

If your goal is to make a living online you should strive towards becoming an internet marketer.

The more techniques you master the better your overall business will be.

Start of small and don’t get discouraged.

Get through the humps and move one to the next venture.

Article Writing

5 Article Writing Mistakes That Will Cost You

Article writing can be a great way to express your knowledge and get tons of traffic for your website or blog.

If you are running an online business it’s definitely beneficial to have a blog where people can go to learn more about you and your business.

If your articles are good people will praise you and continue to come back to your website for more information and updates.

If your articles are bad people will leave never to return again.

Today I wanted to discuss some common mistakes you should avoid before submitting a post to your blog.

5 Article Writing Mistakes to Avoid

1. Not Reviewing Your Work Before Submitting

While some common mistakes are acceptable, too many grammatical errors can get in the way of getting your point across.

If your readers cannot understand what you’re trying to say they are going to quickly exit your site and not return.

This hurts your traffic and ultimately your potential to make sales.

Simple mistakes of wrong spelling and punctuation errors can cause your article to be labelled as “low quality” and won’t get approved by article directories.

This creates problems for you in the search engines with getting your articles ranked high enough to generate organic traffic.

Make sure you are reviewing your articles for major errors or getting someone to proof read them for you before clicking the submit button.

2. Being Too Direct With the Sell

People enjoy buying things on or off the internet, but very few people like to be sold.

Too much hard sell, bragging, and self-promotion can hurt you in article writing.

People have come to your website to get their problems solved and that should be your priority.

If what you have to offer solves their problem they will be happy to buy, but people aren’t looking for the hard sell.

Make your article writing count by providing people with solutions and then providing them with a product that can help.

3. Headline and Body Copy Aren’t Congruent

Have you ever clicked an article because of the headline only to find out the body of the content was something totally different?

Yes?

Yea me too…

I felt cheated!

Your article writing should have a good flow to it.

Things should match up and be easy to follow.

If someone clicks on your article because your headline states that they can learn a new language in 30 days, then your article should reflect that in some way.

It is highly important that whatever is said in your headline reflects what you have in the body.

You have to train your readers to respond to your offers accordingly.

4. Overusing Keywords for SEO

Overusing keywords in your articles will hurt you more than they will help.

One thing that you don’t want to do is spam your article with a particular keyword.

This will hurt you in the search engines, as well as the article directories.

And if your articles aren’t getting ranked or published then that means no traffic.

It’s important to optimize your articles for SEO and using keywords strategically throughout your article writing is the way to go.

Ideally, keywords or key phrases you target should be no more than 2%.

Do your best to use 1-2 keywords per 100 words in your article writing.

5. Having No Call-to-Action at the End of Your Article

Having a call-to-action at the end of your article is the most important thing besides a good headline.

A good headline is designed to get people to click, but if they make it to the end of your article they need to know what to do next or else they just exit your website.

A call-to-action gets people to make an action they normally wouldn’t take otherwise for a desire or goal that you want.

It doesn’t have to be selling something, but if you want them to share ask them to share.

If you want them to check out another article, ask.

This can do wonders for your business and take your article writing to new heights with this simple strategy.

Begin to utilize it at the end of your articles if you want your readers to take another action.

You should avoid these mistakes at all costs.

If you have an online business your objective should be to provide your readers with quality information that can solve their problems.

Simple mistakes are normally looked past, but huge mistakes can cost you.

Make sure you are going over your work or getting someone else to check it over before submitting your articles.

Best Wishes!

Blogging: Recycling Old Blog Posts Into New Information

Blogging can be a painstaking task when it comes to creating new content regularly in a specific niche.

If you’ve been blogging for some time now you have a treasure trove of content you’re sitting on and you can use your current content to create new content.

Today I wanted to discuss some ways you can continue to provide valuable content to your readers and not have to stress over the fact of constantly having to come up with new ideas for a post.

5 Blogging Tips for New Content

Update Old Posts

Don’t underestimate old posts.

You can always go back and look at old posts to see if the content is still relevant.

Things change rapidly over the internet so something you once wrote about may not be up-to-date since you last wrote it.

Pick through old posts and find new ways to re-write it or add in some new information.

Is there any new research on the topic that you could cover in a blog post?

Share that with your readers.

As you go through your archives, keep an eye out for ways you can reuse some of those valuable posts that are just sitting in your blog’s archives.

Take a new approach

If you have a way of writing your blog posts you can consider changing your approach.

Are you asking questions?

You can be more interactive with your readers and set up Q&A sessions with them.

The information you get from your readers can be used to turn into new and refreshing blog posts.

Learn something new

Is there a topic you’ve been looking over because you are afraid to tackle it?

Stretch your self and learn something new that can give you more information to give to your readers.

What more can you discover about your niche?

Have your views that you expressed in any old posts changed at all?

Write about how your views have changed–or how they are as firm as ever sharing what has had an impact on your views.

Create a blogging environment that is interaction and constantly evolving.

Tweet old posts

If you have a WordPress blog you can tweet old blog posts and get people talking about those posts.

You can create an interactive discussion with readers and gain new ideas.

You can also tweet old posts and ask readers how you can improve upon them.

Any information you get can be used to update old posts or create totally new posts with the information you received.

More often than not people will be willing to give you the information you need to make your blog better.

Utilize Facebook

Along with Twitter you can utilize Facebook to get more hits and comments to old blog posts.

Post or repost old articles and get people to engage.

You posts can quickly get shared and exchanged all across Facebook creating a frenzy and gaining large amounts of traffic from work that’s already been done.

Sharing your posts and asking question can go a long way in giving you new ideas to create new content.

Don’t look past old content you have created.

Figure out ways to update or make it more refreshing.

Old posts can always be better.

Focus on creating awesome content for your readers.

Blogging doesn’t have to be difficult and don’t allow yourself to make it more difficult with over-thinking things.

Best Wishes!

Make Money

How to Make Money With a Blog

Are you curious to know quick ways to make money online?

The internet is where you can get a lot of prospects of earning money.

One of the most popular and most convenient ways to earn money online is through blogging.

Starting a blog is simple and you can ensure long-term income from blogging if you take the time to learn what it takes to be successful with it.

The topics you write about can vary, but the best things to write about are what you enjoy and what people are looking for.

Making money with a blog is not like any other conventional form of marketing.

You need to apply different techniques and strategies to be successful, but once you figure it out you can sustain a reasonable monthly income.

Wondering how it works?

Let’s see…

  • You write and post articles to your website or other websites on the internet on information people are seeking or things you enjoy. Search engines on the internet find and cache the articles that you write, based on the keywords you use in your posts. As your site gains popularity and credibility, web traffic to your website increases. You can build an email list or make money through selling affiliate products. These are two quick ways to make money with your blog.

Even though blogging is can be used as a tool for quick ways to make money online, do not expect results overnight.

When it comes to writing your posts the most important thing that you need to consider is the subject and the topics you write about.

You can write about almost anything under the sun, but how you write it is important.

You main objective should be to focus on keywords people are searching for on the internet.

To generate more traffic you can also upload videos, articles, and podcasts to your blog.

It is suggested that you choose unique subjects and topics for your blog.

Figure out what people are looking for and solve their problem.

By doing a bit of research you can find out what people are searching for on the web.

Keep your blog narrowed down to a specific niche and figure out your target market.

You can also research other blogs that are similar to yours and see what they are doing.

From the most popular ones to the ones that appear on top of search engines, read a few and figure out what makes them unique.

Go through the topics that are covered and begin writing unique blog posts that interest your target market.

When creating a blog, one of the most important things is to decide on the platform for your blog.

Most first-time bloggers use free blogging platforms like Google Blogger and WordPress.com.

You can also create your own blogging platform.

However, these free blogging platforms may provide restrictions on the ways you make money using your blog.

So, if it is for business purposes then you should host your own blog.

Customizing your blog with various elements that are available with services like Google, Blogger, and WordPress will enhance your blog and improve its functionality.

Most of the blog hosting services have paid upgrade facilities, which will allow you to customize your blog further.

Having a unique blog helps to attract targeted readers and assists your blog with gaining popularity.

Once your blog is setup properly,  now comes the need to market it.

You can advertise your blog and its contents on the social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

You can also market your site with the help of paid ads.

These are all potential ways to generate traffic to your website for quick ways to make money online.

Your main objective should be formulating your blog in a way to monetize it using multiple internet marketing strategies.

Earning money with blogging can be rewarding and fun at the same time.

Developing and working a plan is where you should start.

Get started today with your blog.

Blogger

Tips a Blogger Should Know

A blog can be a great way to give voice to your passions, loves, expertise or creativity.

They can be a good source of income as well.

Be that as it may, there are certain things that a blogger should be familiar with.

It does not matter if you are an existing blogger or if you are planning to start one.

With the help of  these blogger tips, you will find blogging an easier and more enjoyable activity.

These tips can also help keep your content exciting enough for your readers to keep coming back.

6  Blogger Tips

1) Refresh the Look of Your Blog on a Regular Basis

You can give your blog a stylish and fashionable theme and layout.

However, fashion trends are subject to change.

Your readers can become bored with the design after visiting it on a regular basis. You can easily change the looks of your website on a regular basis.

You may opt for a complete change or make only a few minor changes.

Either way, ensure that you do not do it too often.

Otherwise, your readers can become fed up.

2) Maintain an About Page

Blogs are all about connecting with your readers.

As such one of the more important blogger tips you should keep in mind is the maintenance of an about page.

Your readers would love to know more about the person writing their favorite blogs.

Readers can use the about page to know more of your skills, talents and business.

Keeping such a page is incredibly important.

Additionally, you need to ensure that the tone of the about page is similar to the rest of the blog.

At the same time, there should not be any errors particularly for the crucial bits of information such as contact details.

3) Blog Organization

If you have been an avid blogger or if your blog has been around for a long period of time, you will have accumulated a lot of blog posts.

Unless you have implemented a good labeling system, you and your readers will find it intensely difficult to locate a particular blog post.

You should implement a scalable labeling and organizational system in your blog as soon as possible.

Divide you posts into categories and subcategories to ensure that it is extremely easy to search for blogs.

This can reduce a lot of headache in the future.

4) Make Use of the Footer Space

It is true that not all of your readers will be interested in what lies at the end of blog page.

However, some people do end up scrolling to the bottom.

They are usually the ones who are really interested in your blog.

Among the many blogger tips, an important one is that you should not let the footer space be blank.

Keep it just as interesting as the rest of the blog.

You can add links to your archives, latest blog posts, the popular posts or the about page.

5) Create a Calendar for Posts

You can create a virtual or a paper calendar according to your preference.

The calendar will act as a sort of scheduler and planner to remind you of the dates for the latest blog posts.

You can also use the calendar to keep a track of the ideas you wish to include in the future posts.

It will help you remain organized and ensure that you do not miss anything of importance.

6) Avoiding Burnout

It is quite easy to get burnout when you are working daily as a blogger from home.

You need to set your own hours for working.

Moreover, you should not stay cooped up over a single activity.

You can pursue your other interests.

A change of scenery is important especially when you are working in something that is as creative as blogging.

Avoid staying at home all day just to reply to all the emails and comments left by readers.

By going out, you many end up with new inspirations to make use of in your blogs.

These are few of many blogger tips that you can use to improve your blog.

By making use of these tips, you can really make your blog better and hopefully a tremendous success.

Fail with Blogging

Why People Fail With Blogging?

I was just in a forum recently, (http://www.warriorforum.com) and a group of us were having a discussion on reasons why people fail with blogging.

There were so many different views and reasons why people fail at it.

Blogging is a great way to build your presence online and potentially make a living off of, but it comes with a price.

There is a lot of hard work dedicated to creating a place where people want to come and feel comfortable.

A place on the web where people can get the information they are seeking with full confidence that it can help them.

Today I wanted to discuss some reasons why people fail with blogging.

Let’s get started.

3 Reasons Why People Fail With Blogging

1) Picking the wrong niche

In yesterday’s post, How to Find the Right Niche, I discussed the importance of picking the right niche.

This should be the first step in the process of creating your own blog.

If it’s to make money then this is where you should begin.

Picking the wrong niche will cause you a big headache and will ultimately be a waste of time if the niche isn’t profitable.

You will put in loads of time and work for no reason if the niche cannot be monetized.

2) They are too impatient

Often people to into blogging to make a quick buck and in most cases it does not work that way.

Blogging takes effort and you must be passionate about what you are doing.

Otherwise you will not stick with it and your blogging efforts will be short lived.

Most of the successful bloggers I know didn’t start earning money until 6+ months into the business and with that they put in loads of work.

Focus on building a foundation with your blog and learning how to manage it.

Take your time with it and focus on making it the best you can.

In this case patience is truly a virtue with blogging.

3) Lack of consistency

Consistency is important in any endeavor.

Blogging probably is one of the longest processes to make money online.

While you can make money quickly, really building that foundation is the best process for you.

Remaining consistent with you efforts will build your credibility and in time you will learn what it takes to maintain a thriving functioning blog.

Learning how to become a better writer, improve your SEO efforts, and building relationships with your readership.

If you remain consistent with your blogging you can eventually branch out into other ways to make money online, but having a blog should be one of your sources.

These are only a few ways of why people fail with blogging, but these three things are definitely big in why people don’t have success with it.

Blogging is a really effective way to build something lasting and credible.

In my online experience when you have a blog you have a reputation.

People are more likely to see you as an expert and will opt in to your list because of that.

You show people you are real and they get to see many sides of your personality depending on your content.

Blogging is a way to show your knowledge, people will respond well to that over any other form of internet marketing.
