3 Ways to Inspire Motivation in YOU

I decided to take a break yesterday from blogging because that was my way to celebrate my 100th blog post.

I believe when it comes to business you have to find a balance that supports both your personal and business goals.

I enjoyed the day hanging out at Barnes and Noble reading and playing Chess on my computer.

It’s one of my favorite places to go when I just want to get away.

It was quite pleasing being able to plan out the rest of my week and getting things together for this move next week.

Although my life has been a roller coaster ride lately I’m moving into a new place.

It’s a lot more spacious and I think it will allow me the ability to be more creative.

While not my dream location I hope to continue growing my blog and pursuing my online business to take me where I want to go with attaining the things I desire out of life.

I still have debt (Student Loans/Credit Card) and want to have that taken care of in the next few years.

So my goal is to grind it out until then.

While going through all these thoughts yesterday it really made me think of motivation and what motivates the successful to do what they do to achieve their dreams.

Does Motivation Lead to Success?

While I don’t think being motivated is an indicator of success, I do believe without motivation one can’t be very successful.

We all go through periods where we don’t do the things we know we should be doing to make our lives better.

But that’s what separates those who get stuff done from those who don’t.

There’s some force, power, or thing that gets them going even when they don’t want to.

Motivation plays an important role in the daily living of a person who wants more out of life and more out of themselves.

Many people in this world have successfully achieved their most important goals in life because of the motivation they displayed while going for their wildest dreams and deepest desires.

By applying motivation to tasks in your life you can move mountains and achieve many things you never thought possible.

3 Ways to Inspire Motivation

1. Set Goals For Yourself

Motivation can be inspired by setting a goal or goals for yourself.

I had this blog on my mind for a long time before actually starting it and being serious about it.

I decided to set the goal and give myself three months of constant blogging to see where I could take it.

Never could I have thought I’d actually make it this far, but I wrote it down and did what I had to do each day.

Motivation has a very strong connection to the concentration of an individual who aims for a very special thing.

Such claim is very applicable in the process of attaining a very important goal in life or a very significant opportunity which can lead a person to success.

I concentrated on it and have had some successes I would have never thought possible a few months back when I had very readers.

Through goal setting and consistent effort I get regular visitors and new visitors daily from all across the world.

It all started with one goal.

Not only has my motivation to blog become a habit, it’s become a necessity.

2. Be Excited About What You’re Doing

Being excited about what you’re doing increases motivation by a lot.

How many times how you been exciting about something only to not do it?

Not very often if at all right?

If you do a thing that enjoy you don’t really need to have motivation to do it.

That’s the importance of being passionate about something.

You do it because you love it.

If you can figure out a way to monetize even better for you, but whether you make money doing it or not it’s still a part of who you are.

Be excited about life and put yourself in a position to where the things you are doing don’t feel like a job or tasks, but a natural progression into what you enjoy.

3. Build A Support Circle Around You

Motivation comes a lot easier when you are surrounded by people who support you.

If you currently don’t have a support circle to keep you motivated with your endeavors figure out how to get around one.

You don’t always have to have a support system in place already.

Go out there and get one.

There are many people out in the world that have similar interests to you.

Find where they are and support them.

You must give before you can get.

It’s amazing the response I’ve got from reaching out to other bloggers on the net by supporting them.

The amount of love and support I’ve got is amazing and keeps me going when growing my online business.

Motivation is a state of mind that should become a part of your daily routine.

It can open up your mind to the possibilities life has to offer if you go for your dreams.

There have been many people who’ve successfully achieved their dreams with the help of motivation.

Changing the frame of mind and taking consistent action daily.

Once you learn how to harness this power you can overcome many challenges in life.

Motivation has the ability to boost your confidence and self-esteem in ways you never thought possible.

Begin to make your change today and find something that can motivate you.

Mental Conditioning: Program the Mind

Achieving greatness with anything takes hard work and dedication.

You have to have the right mindset.

Conditioning the mind consists of processes to improve self-awareness, as well as techniques that create positive mental skills.

These are effective in changing your thinking in order to optimize maximum performance to achieve your desired goals.

What Is Mental Conditioning?

Mental conditioning is about training the mind to work efficiently.

It involves tuning your entire being to work in unison to do the right things, at the right times, to get the best possible results.

It takes much practice just like anything else to be able to tap into the specialties of the mind and the capabilities it possesses.

Why Is Mental Conditioning Important?

Mental conditioning is important to assist with your focus.

To learn how to channel all of your energy for the desired and specific outcome you want to achieve.

It gives you the power needed for a better chance of success and a clear path to reaching your full potential.

Techniques that can be used to condition the mind consist of, but are not limited to: Relaxation, Imagery, Goal Setting, and Positive Thinking.

Mental Conditioning Techniques

1) Relaxation

Relaxation techniques can assist with relieving tension and stress build up to improve with focus and concentration.

Deep breathing techniques can be performed by taking at least three long slow inhales, followed by three long slow exhales.

This helps with releasing the negative build-up of emotions and assists with your focus by giving you the “tunnel vision” effect.

Light massage across the shoulders and lower neck tend to help do the trick as well.

The bottom line is getting into a state of which you are able to focus and channel your thoughts and energy effectively.

2) Imagery

Imagery is powerful with mental conditioning because it reinforces and builds on your belief.

If you can see it in your mind and make it as real as possible it increases your level of confidence.

See yourself accomplishing the tasks, feeling the positive emotions, and enjoying the end result.

Be in a constant state of accomplishment and let distracting and negative thoughts fade away with relaxation and positive thinking techniques.

Replay in your mind constant success and triumph. See yourself as free flowing and adaptable like water.

3) Goal setting

Goal setting allows the ability to break down large tasks into smaller tasks that become easier to accomplish.

By setting small goals you allow more room for achievement, which in turn keeps motivation and moral high.

Combining short-term and long-term goals you allow yourself realistic and manageable ways to stay focused on creating a positive and successful outcome.

Do not make your goals to simple or too difficult.

Give yourself room to work hard, but not hard enough to discourage you.

Be committed to making progress daily.

4) Think Positive

Thinking positive helps to not get you discouraged or give up if things get difficult.

Always remain positive and know that the end is possible if you keep at it.

If you do something wrong, find another way to do it.

Never look at failures or mishaps as a negative thing.

Learn from your mistakes and adjust.

Keep a smile on your face and a positive mind.

Negativity only breeds emotions that hinder solutions and creativity.

Practice self-talk techniques and surround yourself with positive people that can uplift or guide you in the right direction.

Apply these mental conditioning techniques into your life and you will improve your motivation, as well as your performance.

Learn how to program the mind efficiently by using the relaxation techniques discussed.

Imagery will allow you to see the finish line and accomplish things you previously thought monumental.

5 Ways to Focus and Achieve Your Goals

Goals are very important so today I wanted to focus on 5 ways to hold your focus and achieve your goals.

Life, accomplishments, success, and advancement all depend on having goals and doing what it takes to achieve those goals.

The secret is to have one focus set on success.

This helps to keep your thoughts concentrated, and your energy does not get dissipated by going in a lot of different directions.

It’s easy to get distracted by finding ways to focus on other things, but the key is to build momentum in all things relevant to the goal instead of distraction.

It is all about focus and with focus you can achieve your goals.

We will discuss more about ways to hold your focus in a bit…

But let’s get into the power of goal setting and what it can do for you in your life.

The first and most important step is to put your goals in writing. Some place where they are easily visible and allotted time that you can focus on them daily.

Take time out of the day to allow yourself a chance to visualize, focus, and execute them as needed. Look at them often and ask yourself questions on how you can achieve your goals.

Most people who set goals and create a plan to set those goals end up finding themselves headed in the right direction when given a purpose.

It’s like a Captain and his ship. To get to where you are going you need coordinates and an effective plan to reach your destination. Goal setting is no different.

Those that do not set goals usually get left in the dust wondering and questioning why success seems to elude them.

While I realize there are people who naturally enjoy success without setting goals, most of us have to if we have any chance of getting from point A to point B.

In my experience with goal setting, past and present, I find that in addition to writing them out, pictures of my goals and associated items, help me to visualize actually having them.

I do this with the use of a vision board or a dry erase board where I right down ideas, plans, timelines, etc.

It gives me the confidence to think that it is just a matter of time until everything will be completed, as well as a road map to help me do the necessary things needed to feel like I’m going in the right direction.

This really helps to subdue any negative vibes that may arise during the journey.

If that plan fails, it’s back to the drawing board with a new plan until my goal is completed.

One thing I can tell you is without consistency you will never achieve anything. The power of consistency is vital in achieving many things.

It’s about making a decision and going full throttle.

In the past I’ve struggled with consistency. Struggled with believing that the work I was doing was for nothing. And have struggled with friends and family not supporting or believing in what I was doing.

Get to a point where you make up your mind. Whether anyone is there with you or not you have to do it for YOU. YOU and YOU only even if you have nothing else to stand on find something that will motivate you.

Having a background in sprinting, weightlifting, and fitness I still have issues with working out consistently, but it’s a passion for me and I can never leave it alone.

But I’ve realized that it never gets old and it’s part of me. The journey of staying consistent is what makes is so exciting.

I have also been in the internet marketing space for some years now and have yet to have any huge successes because of my lack of consistency. Always finding excuses or ways to cut back and eventually give up.

There should be no excuses no matter what the circumstance. If there’s something you want bad enough you do what you need to get to get it. Period!

I can remember a few years back…

I was broke, jobless, going through legal troubles, and had no direction in my life. Everything seemed to not be going my way, but I realized it was all created by my thoughts and my lack of having any real, DESIREABLE goals.

It’s about developing a mindset, becoming success driven, goal-oriented, and focused. Pushing the negative self talk aside every chance you get. And coming up with ideas you immediately act on.

Break them down into smaller actions, and then into smaller actions until you come up with something simple, something that does not seem so big it discourages you from finishing.

Anything within reason can be achieved when broken down into something smaller and more manageable. Focus on each process and allow the event to happen, instead of focusing on the event and finding ways to shortcut the process.

The process is the most important part. The event is the reward you reap for completing each process and becoming a problem solver. That’s what goals are about.

With that being said let’s take a look at what you came here for…

5 Ways to Focus and Achieve Your Goals:

  1. Write down your goal/goals and review them frequently. Immerse your mind, thoughts, emotions, feelings, and actions in the process.
  2. Create a vision board or a plan that will allow your mind to give attention to your goals daily. It should become a point where even when you aren’t consciously thinking about your goals your subconscious is still working on a solution.
  3. Talk about your goals every chance you get, review them every chance you get, and find people that will hold you accountable. Commit yourself to doing this daily.
  4. Break down your goals to steps that become simple, be specific with the small things needed to complete the ultimate goal.
  5. Set your mind to ‘WIN’, there is no other option to consider. Create the illusion that your back is against the wall and the only way out is to succeed.

Developing focus is a principle to success. Build momentum in all things instead of distraction. Make it work for you. Don’t be allowed to question yourself and ask others for help. Even if you think the question may be stupid.

Make a checklist of the 5 strategies listed above and place them where they can be seen. Review them as often as your goals. These are the building blocks that will help you become the person you need to be to ultimately win in the end.
