I get it, the internet is full of information.

When I began online I thought I could do it all on my own.

The problem was information overload.

I would constantly leave myself frustrated.

I felt like I was going in circles with my marketing efforts and not knowing where to start or go next once I got past an obstacle.

Majority of newbies get caught up in the shiny object syndrome.

Each new big thing that comes out they are ready to jump on it leaving what they’ve been doing behind.

By constantly abandoning projects that you have started will never gain you the success you seek.

The news headline should be written in a way that imply’s something big is coming, or something new is being announced.

The body should address a product that describes something that wasn’t previously available, but a long-standing problem has been solved with some solution.

An example would include:

“Finally, an incredibly new and easy weight loss method that blast the weight off quickly. Feel healthier, look sexier, and be happier with this amazing new weight loss secret without having to change your diet or take any pills.”

This headline displays to the reader that the weight loss method is different than what’s been offered in the past.

It also lets them know that it’s quick, easy, and can change the way the feel both inside and out.

Curiosity

Headlines that invoke curiosity in the reader usually deal with a some secret revealed or the promise of generating a want.

An example would be;

“Discover the secret of how a homeless man went from living in a box to becoming CEO of his very own company in less than six months. Learn the secrets he’s never disclosed until now.”

This headline entices the reader by leaving a lot of unanswered questions. How did he do it? What did he do to get off the street? Why did he do it so quickly?

This kind of headline makes the reader want to dedicate a bit more time to figure out exactly what he did and if they can do it too.

Quick and Easy

People also love learning how to do something quick and easy.

This works well in headlines if you are telling the truth.

Never lie in your headlines and only use ethical copy to get your point across.

If there is a quicker or easier way to solve someones problem do your best to provide it in the actual product.

It’s usually a good idea to write multiple headlines and then narrow it down to the ones that fit best.

Also, if you write your headline before actually doing the copy you have a guideline to follow for writing persuasive copy that will get people to take immediate action.

Your headline should not be taken lightly.

Spend as much time and effort as you need on it to get it right.

Every part of a sales letter should be treated with full importance.

If your headline does not jump off the page to you then revise it until it does.
